2025 was a very successful year for the project. We would like to thank our sponsors for their continued support. Because of your involvement we were able to expand on our programmes and invest in equipment.

This has resulted in an improved experience for our participants, benefiting as many people as possible. We are proud to have the following as partners and look forward to working with you into the future.

Wishing all our friends a very happy and healthy 2026.

Last year was packed with exciting activities. It was a fun year of spending time together outdoors where families and adults enjoyed woodland walks, a teddy bears’ picnic, apple picking, and regular cookery, gardening and art projects. These fun activities created space to connect, share skills, and enjoy time together.

This year we have planned more exciting projects . We will continue with our hands on gardening and art sessions, add new seasonal activities, and create more opportunities to come together.

See a flavor of our projects.

We will keep you posted.

Local gardeners at all levels of ability are encouraged to volunteer at Carriglea Woodland Walk. We have some areas of the park and gardens that are still being developed, plus various garden maintenance jobs that are often in need of extra hands. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Margaret Browne during normal hours using any of the following methods:
